Linda Lipovsky

Linda Kathryn (Winkels) Lipovsky, 68, of South Beloit, Ill., passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, in her home surrounded by family. 
Born Dec. 25, 1940, in Austin, the daughter of Anthony J. and Lillian (Vilt) Winkels. She married Anthony J. Lipovsky on Jan. 28, 1960, in Austin. She was employed by J.L. Clark for many years and was a teacher at Christian Life School. 
Linda was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in Loves Park, Ill. She doted on her grandchildren and loved to collect angels. 
Survivors include her husband, Anthony; daughters, Mary Greensides of Roscoe, Ill., and Kathy (Darren ) Ruback of Round Lake; son, John Lipovsky of Loves Park; grandchildren, Douglas (Annie) Hike, Matt, Michael and Lila Greensides, Austyn and Jennifer Ruback; great-grandson, Hunter Hike; sister, Barbara Abrams of Northwood, Iowa; brothers, Richard (Terry) of Granite Falls, Minn., Thomas (Mary) of Austin and David Winkels of North Branch, Minn. 
She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, Ill., with Father Jerome Koutnik officiating. There will be a burial in Harlem Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, in the funeral home, with scripture service at 8 p.m.
