P/E/M knocks off Southland boys basketball team

The Southland basketball team lost to Plainview/Elgin/Millville 96-47 in Plainview Tuesday.
The Rebels (0-5 overall) fell behind 57-31 at the break and couldn’t keep up with P/E/M (3-0 overall), which is ranked No. 1 in the Class ‘AA.’
“They’re a very good team and their full court press was too much for us to handle,” Southland head coach Jon Thalberg said. “They run and gun and they can shoot.”
Southland had 32 turnovers and was out-rebounded 26-13.
Clay Olstad scored 26 for P/E/M and Cole Olstad scored 25 points.
