The time of the Feb. 2 forum for the candidates in the 5th District Mower County Board of Commissioners race has been changed to 5 p.m. instead of 7 p.m.

The time was changed to 5 p.m. because there is a state-wide caucus at 7 p.m. The candidate forum is expected to conclude before 6 p.m.

The League of Women Voters Austin Area will host the forum. The forum will be held in the Austin City Council Chambers with candidates Mike Ankeny and Ron Felten answering questions.

The special election for the 5th District seat is Feb. 10.
