James Arthur Ableitner, 59, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at his home in Farmington.
He was born April 8, 1950, in Plainview, Minn., the son of Elmer Roy and Ruth Irene (Hetrick) Ableitner. On Sept. 1, 1978, he married Luella Kramer at Easter Lutheran Church in Eagan. They lived in Eagan and later in Farmington. James was employed by the City of Apple Valley in the maintenance department. He liked being on his computer, had a wonderful sense of humor and was the family jokester. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his dog, Mandy.
Survivors include his wife, Luella Ableitner of Farmington; two sons, Kraig (Perri) Kramer of Eagan and Kris (Laura) Kramer of Farmington; five grandchildren, Kandee, Kole, Robert, Samantha and Tabitha; two great-grandchildren, Trinity and Taylan; three nieces, Paula, Jennifer and Holly along with many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David, and a sister, Judy.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at the Worlein Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen DeFor, officiating. Interment will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the Worlein Funeral Home on Friday.
