A Racine woman injured her hip when she was partially thrown from her snowmobile Saturday afternoon in the Grand Meadow area.

Nicky Strain, 41, was taken to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

She was treated and released.

Strain and a 44-year-old male were riding their snowmobiles when Strain failed to see a snow covered culvert and smashed the vehicle.

The incident occurred near 745th Street.
