An Austin man faces six counts of a felony sex crime for allegedly molesting a 14-year-old girl numerous times over the last year.

James Carle Spencer, 37, is currently wanted on a Mower County warrant, which was filed Tuesday along with a criminal complaint.

According to the complaint, the teenage girl said Spencer began touching her inappropriately about a year ago. She said over the past 12 months, the sexual conduct became more frequent and more serious. Overall, the girl said she was touched between 70 and 90 times. She also said Spencer had intercourse with her.

The alleged victim said incidents occurred both in Austin and in Brownsdale, the complaint states. The most recent incident allegedly occurred Feb. 10.

The complaint also states that Spencer admitted to abusing the girl to two of his relatives.
