A scuffle over snoring led to two Mower County Jail inmates being separated Wednesday evening.
A 51-year-old male inmate confronted his 42-year-old cellmate about his noisy sleeping habit. The two began to argue, leading the 42-year-old to strike the other man several times in the back of his head, according to a sheriff’s department report.
Jail staff were able to separate the men and move them to different cells.
The 51-year-old man said he did not wish to pursue charges for the attack.
