The Southland boys basketball team closed out its regular season with a 77-66 win over Chatfield (2-22 overall) on the road Thursday.

The Rebels (15-11 overall) led 39-27 at the half, but hit just 12-of-29 free throws in the second half.

“We would’ve blown them out of the water if we could’ve hit some free throws,” Southland head coach Jon Thalberg said.
