An Austin man arrested following a fight at a downtown bar in January was sentenced to probation Monday.
Tony Enright Montoya, 20, will spend 30 days in jail if he violates his one-year probationary term, according to court records. He is also set to serve 30 hours of community service.
The incident in question occurred on Jan. 31 at around 12:45 a.m. at the Cosmos Bar, located at 123 Third Ave. NE.
When police arrived, a large crowd had gathered around Montoya and Heather Marie Krumrie, 21, who were arguing with each other outside the bar.
Krumrie was arrested on previous criminal warrants and taken to jail.
Montoya was cited for possessing a dangerous weapon and minor alcohol consumption but was released by officers that night.
