Northfield tops Austin baseball team

The Austin baseball team didn’t go out quitely, but it fell short by a score of 8-5 at Northfield (2-2 overall) Monday.
The Packers (1-5 overall) scored three runs with two outs in the top of the seventh.
“It was nice to get those runs at the end. I just wish we could’ve started doing it earlier,” Austin head coach Troy Watkins said. “Hopefully, it will carry over to our game on Tuesday (against Mankato West in Austin).”
