A one-car accident near Dexter last night resulted in a driver being sent to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Randolph Miller, 47, of Austin was the only person in the car which rolled over two and a half times before landing upside down in a ditch at around 2 a.m. Tuesday; he was extricated from the vehicle by Dexter Fire, according to a deputy’s report.
Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi said alcohol is believed to be involved in the incident, and Miller is expected to be charged with driving after cancellation.
He was not wearing a seat belt.
Mower County deputies, Dexter Fire and Grand Meadow Ambulance responded to the incident.
