Austin School Board deadlocks on vote for new member

The Austin School Board resolved to postpone the selection of a new school board member to fill the vacant seventh seat after a three to three deadlock vote at Tuesday’s meeting.
School Board chairperson Richard Lees said the board will revisit the issue, likely within the next three months.
