Biker injured in collision with car

An Austin biker collided with a car on Thursday afternoon but was not seriously injured.
Jesus Cruz, 32, was taken to Austin Medical Center after the incident. He was treated for unspecified injuries and released, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
According to a police report, the incident occurred on Hormel Century Parkway near one of the gates to Quality Pork Processors at around 2:40 p.m. Edgar Rowe, 41, of LeRoy, was leaving work at QPP and turning left onto the parkway when he and Cruz collided. Cruz rolled up on the hood and windshield, then landed on the street.
When authorities arrived, Cruz was laying face-down near the curb, complaining of pain all over. He was taken by ambulance to AMC.
Rowe is not likely to face any charges for the accident.
