A 70-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle Friday morning in southwest Austin and transported to Austin Medical Center.

As of Friday morning, police did not have the name of the victim or further details on the incident. They are investigating.

The woman was struck at around 7:54 a.m. in front of 611 12th Ave. SW. The extent of her injuries are unknown.
