The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northwestern Mower and Southern Dodge counties until 5:15 p.m.

Large hail and damaging winds could accompany the storm, according to the NWS. Those in the path of the storm are encouraged to seek shelter inside a sturdy structure and to stay away from windows.
