Greyhounds stay alive in Section 2B playoffs

The Austin Greyhounds rattled off 18 hits in a 24-5 seven-inning win over Waseca to keep their season alive in a Section 2B elimination game at Dick Seltz Field Wednesday.
Austin will play the Blue Sox at Friday at 7:30 p.m. with a trip to state on the line.
Austin (13-14 overall) scored eight runs with two outs to open the game in the bottom of the first and the Hounds tagged on 10 more runs in the fifth.
Nick Bowe had a double and four RBIs for Austin and Matt Raso had a homer and two RBIs.
Bryan Toov picked up the win on the mound.
