Area grads chipping in for college volleyball teams

A few area grads are making their marks early in the college volleyball season.
Kaylee Bunne, a 2010 LeRoy/Ostrander grad has 14 kills and nine blocks in five matches at St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minn.
SMU is off to a 4-1 start to the season.
Nichelle Grage, a 2009 Austin grad, is averaging 4.89 set assists per game and .79 digs per game as one of the primary setters for the University of Minnesota-Morris volleyball team.
Morris is off to a 3-3 start this season.
Marie Morem, a 2010 Blooming Prairie grad, is the third leading hitter for Rochester Community and Technical College volleyball team.
Morem has 31 kills in six matches, while serving four aces with a serving percentage of 91 percent.
Abbie Fay, a 2010 Grand Meadow grad, has 11 kills for the Yellowjackets (9-1 overall) this season.
