Death of man found near park investigated

LAKE ELMO — State and local authorities are investigating the death of a man found near a park in Washington County.
Deputies were called to an address near the Green Acres Recreation Area in Lake Elmo Thursday afternoon. Authorities say a man with life-threatening injuries was taken to Regions Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Sheriff’s deputies and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating.
