The Austin boys soccer team had to do a little regrouping at the break and they turned things around in a 2-1 win at Caledonia Thursday.
The Packers (2-2-1 overall) scored two second half goals to erase a one-goal deficit at the break and get a win.
Sophomore Francisco Torres scored while crashing to the net to give Austin the lead for good with 12 minutes left in the game.
“To come back and win was good,” Austin head coach Jens Levisen said. “But it took a little while for us to get started with the passing game. That’s why the score was the way it was at the half.”
Jake Hagen-Erickson tied the game with a penalty kick early in the first half.
Austin out-shot Caledonia 17-5 in the win.
