ST. CLOUD — Two people died and at least two others were injured when a semitrailer and several other vehicles piled up on the interstate near St. Cloud.
The Minnesota State Patrol says traffic was backed up on Interstate 94 Sunday night because a vehicle was on fire on the shoulder of the road. The State Patrol says the semitrailer failed to stop for the traffic and rear-ended a passenger vehicle, jackknifed and struck several other vehicles.
The St. Cloud Times says the crash shut down westbound I-94 for hours.
