The Pleasant Valley Wind Farm is one step closer to becoming a reality in Mower County.
On Thursday, the project was approved by the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission. The MPUC report indicated the project was granted the certificate of need necessary to move ahead.
Renewable Energy Systems Americans, the company proposing to build with wind farm, can now take the certificate of approval to the county. The next step is to request approval for the installation of transmission lines with the county.
Learn more about what this means for the project in the Sunday edition of The Austin Daily Herald.
