The Austin girls soccer team struggled on offense in a 6-0 loss to Rochester John Marshall in Art Hass Stadium Monday.

The Packers (2-10-3 overall, 0-8-1 Big Nine) attempted just five shots on the night as the Rockets (6-7 overall, 4-2 Big Nine) took control.

After Austin keeper Abby Gallaher made some strong saves early, JM hit pay-dirt with two goals in a one-minute period to go up 2-0 with 15 minutes left in the first half.

“They played hard for eighty minutes and hopefully we carry that energy into Mankato Tuesday,” Austin head coach Josh Dumas said.
