What’s happening: football, pumpkin painting, theater

Friday night, the Austin Packers will have the home field advantage once again. Why not pack up the family and enjoy a night under the lights while the weather is still beautiful? The Austin Packers Touchdown club will take care of your dinner needs, serving up burgers, dogs, chicken and pork. It’s the perfect end to the week. Or, just maybe, it could be the beginning of a perfect weekend.
Whether you are looking for something to do with the kids or looking for a night out on the town, artistry abounds, beginning with pumpkin painting with local artists at WalMart. If you prefer a less hands-on approach, your options include “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” in the Frank W. Bridges Theatre Friday or Saturday evening and Hong Wang & Ian Shapinsky at the Paramount Theatre on Sunday afternoon.
Today is the last day to donate to the Community Outerwear Drive for kids. The cold weather is coming; this is an easy way to help out locally!
