What’s happening this weekend in Austin

You can’t miss the fact that it’s Halloween weekend here in Austin; Austin does it up right.
Celebrations begin on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at the Moose on Main’s Halloween party. From there, Hormel Historic Home beckons you to the Spooky Mansion Tour and Costume Dance. You also have the option to attend the Magic Show at the Paramount or find a sitter for the kiddos and head back to Hormel Historic Home to check out their Haunted House. This Haunted house is so spooky it’s rated: Adults Only!
On Sunday evening, you can hop on over to St. John’s Lutheran Church who hosts their 7th Annual Hallelujah Harvest Festival from 4:30-7 p.m. There is no admission fee, games are 10 cents/game ticket. Better yet, bring in a non-perishable food item and get 10 game tickets. This is a safe, family-oriented environment in which children can play Bible-based games for prizes and treats. Light sloppy joe and hot-dog meal served.
Be sure to watch out for all of those little (and not-so little) ghosts and goblins lurking about this weekend.
