ST. PAUL — Minnesota GOP attorney Tony Trimble is talking about a recount in the governor’s race between Democrat Mark Dayton and Republican Tom Emmer.
Trimble holds a news conference on Wednesday at Republican Party headquarters in St. Paul with party officials.
Trimble was one of the lawyers who represented Republican former Sen. Norm Coleman in the long recount and election contest against Democratic Sen. Al Franken less than two years ago.
The race between Dayton and Emmer was too close to call Wednesday morning. They were separated by less than half a percentage point, which is the margin that triggers an automatic recount.
