David Iverson, 62, of Hayfield, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at his home. Beloved, father, husband and friend.
David Eugene Iverson was born on Aug. 10, 1948 in Austin, MN, the son of Vern and Betty (Arens) Iverson. He was raised and graduated from High School in Austin. Dave continued his schooling by attending Austin To-Tec where he graduated with an electronics degree in 1968.
Dave served 4 years with the Army Security Agency, and was a Vietnam Veteran. On June 27, 1970, Dave was joined in marriage to Marilynn Reinke in Brooklyn Park, MN. Through the years Dave worked at G. A. Hormel, Hitachi of Rochester, and retired from IBM in Rochester. He enjoyed his family, along with traveling, camping, fishing, golfing, and hunting.
Dave is survived by his wife Marilynn: children Rendi (Steve) Turner, Christopher (Sarah) Iverson, five grandchildren: his parents Vern & Betty Iverson: 2 brothers Stanley (Debbie) Iverson and Larry (Kathy) Iverson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Church with Reverend David Simerson officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary and for one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday. In Lieu of flowers, memorials.
