LeVonne was born Jan. 29, 1928 in Fillmore County, to Theodore and Leona (Johnson) Opsahl. She graduated from high school and on June 15, 1946 she was united in marriage to Leonard Rehnelt at St. Theodore Church in Albert Lea. LeVonne was a homemaker. She was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church, the Eagle’s Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She enjoyed embroidery, reading, crossword puzzles and watching the Twins.
Fond memories by family and friends include, time at the river, where everyone was always welcome, and Christmas Eve at LeVonne and Leonard’s. LeVonne always said, “there is always room for one more”, so it was not uncommon for one of the kids or grandkids to bring a friend. The Lord was always present in her heart and soul. Blessed be her memory.
