Authorities investigating deaths in Blooming Prairie

NEWRY TOWNSHIP — Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office detectives and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating two deaths in Blooming Prairie.
A Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office news release sent out Tuesday evening said deputies were dispatched to the 8000 block of 320th St., Blooming Prairie, in northeastern Freeborn County, at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday to check on a person who did not show up for work two days in a row.
When they arrived, and with the assistance of a family member, deputies found the bodies of two people in different locations in the house.
Autopsies are pending with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Names of the victims will be released after the family is notified and autopsies are complete.
