Bemidji State University’s Anna Hebrink, a 5-8 senior guard from Austin was named Beaver Pride Athlete of the Week after recording outstanding athletic accomplishments during the week of Dec. 28-Jan. 4.

Hebrink led the Bemidji State women’s basketball team with 16 points Jan. 3 as the Beavers were defeated by NSIC foe University of Minnesota-Duluth, 99-76. The senior was 5-of-12 (.416) from the floor, which included a 2-for-7 (.286) performance from beyond the arc. Hebrink was a perfect 4-for-4 (1.00) from the free-throw line and added a team-high five assists to accompany a rebound and a steal.

This week’s Beaver Pride Athlete of the Week award marks the first of Hebrink’s career.

Hebrink and the BSU women’s basketball team, which owns 4-7 mark overall and is 1-6 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) play.
