BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. — A 19-year-old man was arrested after police say he punched a Twin Cities bus driver in the face.
The alleged assault happened about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Brooklyn Park, but WCCO-TV reports the confrontation started earlier when the bus driver picked up the passenger.
Police say the passenger was upset before even getting on the bus because he had to move over on the sidewalk due to a snowbank.
According to police, once the man got on the bus he started arguing with the bus driver. Police say the passenger had a knife in his hand when the driver was punched, and that cut the driver’s face.
The passenger left but officers used a police dog to lead them to a home where the man was arrested.
