Mildred Elaine Johnson Dennis, 86, of Owatonna, died Jan. 23 at Cedarview Care Center after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Mildred graduated from high school and attended business school in Sioux City, Iowa. She was in the Navy in WWII and belonged to the Legion Club of Owatonna. She enjoyed baking and quilt making.

Mildred is survived by her ex-husband, John Denis; daughters, Lois Ann (Marv) Kuiper of Minneapolis, Judith Kay (Alan) Olson of Battle Lake, Jacqueline Rae Jensen of Owatonna, Ronland Dean (Sue) Dennis of Lebanon, Mo., and Susan Lynnette (Brian) Stendal of Owatonna; five grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her children; Mary Louise, Raymond, Jean; two brothers; four sisters and her parents.

A memorial service will take place 2 p.m. Feb. 12 at Bethel Baptist Church in Owatona with Carol Dobson officiating. Family visit will be in the evening at AmericInn in Owatonna. Arrangements are being handled by the family.
