LE CENTER, Minn. — A 70-year-old Minnesota woman has pleaded guilty to a bank robbery in which she was accused of duping a man to be her getaway driver.
Sandra Bathke pleaded guilty Tuesday in Le Sueur County District Court to second-degree aggravated robbery. The Free Press of Mankato reports a charge of first-degree aggravated robbery was dismissed.
Bathke was arrested Dec. 15 after authorities say she robbed the Elysian State Bank earlier that day.
She was accused of tricking the 26-year-old son of her landlord to take her to the bank because she was about to be evicted from her Janesville apartment for failure to pay her rent
Sentencing is set for April 5.
