The Riverland women’s basketball team lost 87-58 at Ridgewater Saturday.

The Blue Devils (11-8 overall, 1-4 MCAC South) trailed 54-34 at the half as Ridgwater shot 63 percent from the field in the first frame.

Kelsey Gutter led Ridgewater with 30 points on 13-for-18 shooting.

“We did a horrible job defending her,” RCC head coach Suzy Hebrink said.
