Best in show co-owned by Minneapolis woman

MINNEAPOLIS — A Scottish deerhound co-owned by a Minneapolis woman is America’s top dog.
The 5-year-old Hickory won best in show at the Westminster Kennel Club Madison Square Garden Tuesday night. Wednesday Hickory will be treated to steak at the famed Sardi’s restaurant and take a trip to the top of the Empire State Building. Hickory is the first of her breed to capture the purple-and-gold ribbon and shiny silver bowl.
Sally Sweatt of Minneapolis and Cecilia and Scott Dove own Hickory.
