The Austin boys swimming and diving team advanced two swimmers to state at the Section 1A meet in Inver Grove Heights Saturday.

Sophomore Nick Brehmer advanced to state in the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyles and senior Michael Thorsheim advanced to state in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard butterfly.

The Packers took seventh out of 13 teams in the meet.
