Bruins top Aberdeen on the road

The Austin Bruins survived a late flurry to beat Aberdeen 3-2 on the road Thursday.

The Wings (16-30-4 overall) scored two powerplay goals in the third, but Austin goalie Keegan Asmundson held up strong, stopping 45 shots on the night.

The Bruins (19-25-3 overall) mustered just 29 shots, but Sam Olson, Charlie Adams and Mike Adamowicz all found the back of the net.
