Austin residents who are interested in gardening will now have the chance to learn how their hobby can help others.

Neighbors Feeding Neighbors, an informal group in Austin, is holding a Community Gardening information meeting Thursday, March 24, at 6:30 p.m. at the Mower County Senior Center. There will be a second meeting at the Senior Center on Saturday, March 26, at 11:30 a.m.

The group is dedicated to bringing more local food to Austin and providing food to meet the health and food security needs of vulnerable residents and low-income families throughout town.
