More snow expected before spring weather

Wednesday didn’t produce the snowstorm many were bracing for, but the possibility of another round of March snow isn’t far out of reach.
While today’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with highs near 31 degrees, the National Weather Service is predicting a 40 percent chance of a rain and snow mix Friday evening. Rain is expected to start before 7 p.m., later turning into snow. Winds will blow from the west at speeds of up to 33 mph.
On Saturday, there’s a 20 percent chance of snow before noon, with temperatures around 30 degrees. Northwest winds are expected to gust as high as 40 mph.
Conditions will calm down Saturday evening, leading into a sunny Sunday, with temperatures in the 20s and a slight chance of snow late in the evening. Monday’s forecast calls for highs near 30, followed by temperatures in the 40s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
