The Grand Meadow boys basketball team had its season end with a loss at No. 1 Rushford Peterson (18-7 overall) by a score of 87-43 in the first round of the Section 1A East Division Tournament Thursday.

GM (6-19 overall) trailed 58-12 at the half.

“Our guys kept pushing all year and working hard,” GM head coach Chad Burmester said. “I never felt like they gave up on the season.”
