Robert Allen Noble, 71, of Blooming Prairie died, surrounded by his family, at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna Saturday, April 9, 2011.

He was born July 15, 1939, in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota to Albert and Lu (Kvasnicka) Noble. After completing his elementary education at country school, he attended Blooming Prairie High School where he graduated in 1957. He married Kay Benson on Feb. 27, 1960, at St. Columbanus Catholic Church in Blooming Prairie. He was employed by Hormel Foods for 10 years and managed the Cenex convenience store for many years. A member of St. Columbanus Catholic Church, Bobby was a Knight of Columbus for more than 50 years. In addition, he was a member of the Blooming Prairie Fire Department for more than 28 years. Bobby enjoyed traveling, socializing with family and friends, golfing, music, cooking and pickling. He enjoyed attending activities for his children and grandchildren and had a deep love for his faith, family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Kay of Blooming Prairie; five children, Laura Walch (Tim McGuire) of Zumbro Falls; Steven (Michelle) Noble of Rogers; Jody (Douglas) Vaith of Lake City; Timothy (Leanne) Noble of Northfield; Sara Noble (Tom Schomisch) of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; seventeen grandchildren, Meghan (Sultan) Mirzoyev, Abby Walch, Teresa Walch, Ellie Walch, Emily Noble, Amanda Noble, Samuel Noble, Kayla Noble, Jacob Vaith, Amy Vaith, Jennifer Vaith, Haley Vaith, Liliana Noble, Solomon Noble, Abram Noble, Tyler Heinz and Elliot Heinz; six siblings, David Noble of Blooming Prairie; John “Jack” (Darlene) Noble of Owatonna; twin brother, William “Bill” (Margaret) Noble of Blooming Prairie; Thomas “Tom” (Ann) Noble of Marcel; Ann (Jim Gaul) Noble of White Bear Township; Charles “Chuck” (Ranae) Noble of Eden Prairie; step sister, LaVonne (Gene) Stocking of Eagan, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Gertie Siebel Noble and a niece, Debbie Noble.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 14, at St. Columbanus Catholic Church with Father William Kulas officiating. KC Rosary service will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday at St. Columbanus Catholic Church followed by visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service.
