The Southland softball team beat Dover/Eyota (0-4 overall) 8-2 in Rose Creek Monday.

The Rebels (4-2 overall, 3-2 Three Rivers) scored the first seven runs as they cruised to a win.

“They played very well today and I was very pleased,” Southland head coach Greg Shulte said.
