The Blooming Prairie softball team rattled off 10 hits in an 8-0 win over New Richland/H/E/G (8-5 overall) in BP Thursday.

Tayla Jones tripled and Hunter Henderson doubled for the Awesome Blossoms (12-0 overall) to help lead the scoring attack.

“We hit the ball pretty hard and we put in play a lot,” BP head coach Ali Mach said. “They made some good defensive plays to keep the score as close as it was.”

BP senior pitcher Erica Manske struck out 10 as she picked up her fifth shutout of the season.
