Robert W. Dymacek, 88, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2011.

Bob was born on Jan. 9, 1923, to William and Anna Dymacek. He graduated from Omaha South High School and served in the 8th Air Force Division in WWII. He married Sara Jane (Sally) Frohardt, and worked for Hormel Foods in Fremont, Neb., as an industrial engineer. In 1966, he transerred to the Austin, Minn., office of Hormel, from which he retired in 1986. In 1999, he moved to Phoenix. Through the years, Bob was active in the Presbyterian Church, both local and regional levels, as well as the Red Cross, Masonci Lodge and Lionel Collectors Club. He also served as a Boy Scout troop leader. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jessie Light Hume; and wife, Sally.

Bob is survived by daughter, Linda Dymacek; son, Timothy A. Dymacek; granddaughters, Sara L. Dymacek and Bailey M. Dymacek; brother, Eugene Dymacek and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed. National Cremation Society is in charge of arrangements.
