Sacred Heart Auxiliary held its annual Luncheon Meeting at the Austin Country Club last week.

Becky Halverson, administrator, gave a welcome message to the volunteers and staff members who were present. Fr. Donald Zenk offered the benediction. President Audrey Murphy conducted a brief business meeting with election of new officers for the upcoming year.

The slate of officers is: President Audrey Finkelson, Vice president Karen Huinker, Secretary Marie Wiese and Treasurer Roma Samuelson. Awards were presented to the following: Bronze medals for 100-plus hours Mary Kikuts and Nancy Reed.

Corsages for 2000-plus hours went to Peg Leighton and Joan Hagen. Shane Desilva presented a program of delightful piano music for the group. The next regular monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, May, 24 at 9 a.m. in the Assisted Living Dining Room.
