A Purple potty will make a strange lawn ornament througout the next two and half weeks.

The 4-H Ambassadors are again doing the Purple Potty Fundraiser this year from June 20 to July 8, which includes the towns of Adams, Rose Creek, Dexter, LeRoy and then back to Austin. Know somebody who needs to be pranked? Donate to Relay for Life and have the potty placed in his or her yard.

Residents must donate at least $15 to the American Cancer Society to remove the potty from their lawns. A $20 donation will allow each resident to designate a new recipient for the potty, and a $25 donation will reveal the culprit who placed the potty. Last year’s fundraiser raised more than $1,000.
