CRWD board to approve district rules

The public hearing for the Cedar River Watershed District’s proposed rules takes place 6 p.m. Wednesday night at the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center Ruby Rupner auditorium.
The CRWD board must allow the open public hearing before it votes on its rules — rules that will determine city snow storage guidelines, ditch project requirements and construction project requirements. CRWD will also determine a timeline for when the rules will go into effect, which will likely be this coming winter after current construction projects are complete.
The regular meeting with the board’s vote on the rules will start at 7 p.m.
