Mower County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for suspects after a 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo was stolen from a Rose Creek residence some time between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

The car, yellow with black pinstripes, was stolen some time between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 4:50 a.m. Wednesday from a home at the 100 block of Second Street SE, according to Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi. The car had a half tank of gas and the keys were inside the car’s console.

The owner was home at the time the theft occurred.

Amazi said there are no suspects at this time.
