Dorothy E. Biege, 98, of Eagle Grove/Fort Dodge, Iowa, died Aug. 17, 2011, in Fort Dodge.

She was born Aug. 1, 1913, to Oliver and Agnes (Johnson) Evanson in Albert Lea. She was raised and educated in the area of her birth. After finishing school she assisted her mother in operating a catering business.

She is survived by her husband, John Biege of Eagle Grove; daughters, Sue Witt and husband Doug of Fort Dodge and Dianne Messerly and husband Dick of Eagle Grove; nine grandchildren; 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert and Dick Evenson.

Memorial services will be held at a later date with interment in Westfield Township Cemetery. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
