Fourteenth Ave. NE from 6th St. to 8th St. will be closed for the next six weeks, according to City Engineer Jon Erichson.

Phase one of a two-phase project has started in the area. The project includes installation of a new water main and lighting and storm sewer upgrades, Erichson said.

The second phase of the project is scheduled to start Sept. 19. Fourteenth Ave. NE from 4th St. to 6th St. will be closed at that time.
