COPLEY, Ohio (AP) — A woman who says she was a caregiver for a couple slain in an Ohio rampage says the confrontational behavior of the alleged shooter caused her to leave her job.
Robin Hancock says 51-year-old Michael Hance was an unpleasant and strange person who was not well-liked in the neighborhood.
Police on Monday identified Hance as the man responsible for the Sunday slayings that killed seven people.
Hance died in a shootout with police.
Hancock, of Akron, says Hance was involved in a dispute that arose recently over the estate of his girlfriend’s late parents.
Police say the girlfriend, Becky Dieter, is in the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.
